Tornadoes reaching new areas as season becomes more unpredictable



Naperville local John Sergeant first experienced a tornado as a young boy. Now, as a first responder, he's seen extensively the damage tornadoes can cause.


Experts are seeing tornadoes in new areas of the country, pushing into unexpected places such as cities and larger urban locations. Though tornadoes aren't necessarily becoming more frequent, additional damage as a result of appearances in more populated areas has become more apparent.
